For those in need of healing.

For anyone in need of healing of either mind or body, or both, I hope that you will find these words from today's Daily Word helpful.  I love the sentence "I am created of God."   Not by God (although I believe that to be true), but actually a piece of God.  Or at least that is how I read it.  :o)   Good Blessings to you today.

End of November

The last day of November already?
I trust everyone had a wonderful
Thanksgiving Day filled with
gratitude and surrounded with
family and friends.  We did.

Hello Anna!
Received your welcome postal but
was disappointed in not hearing that
you were going to come or not.  Look
on the other side for your Tom cat.
From your loving friend, Dora
I was going to ask, do you think
the animal is a tom cat, dog or
kangeroo, but Dora seems to
think it is a tomcat !

Remember to support small businesses, both locally and
on the internet too.

Autumn waning

Can it really be almost a month
 before Christmas?  And then 2014?!

A few "last of Autumn" photos
before Christmas.

A couple of weeks ago we had
 hundred's of pelicans come through
for a couple of days.  This is the
tail end of one of their visits.
If we could figure out how to transfer
video to youtube we got a nice video
of them in the cove, splashing and
feeding on the fish.

Beaver Full Moon  11-16-13
I took this looking East, out our
 dining room door.

A cheery yellow custom button bracelet

It's beginning to look a lot like
 Christmas, in Northern California
that is.

Turkeys and perfect days.

I was planning to decorate for
Thanksgiving, but decided to start
 Christmas instead.  I unpacked
my vintage turkey collection, but here
it sits on the sideboard.  LOL

Today was beautiful here at the
cottage.  I am enjoying this mild
 November weather.  We do need
the rain, but I am in no hurry.

It seems like I am working on 10
different projects at once and I hope
that one day one of them will be done!

An idea for Thanksgiving

Has anyone else seen this on facebook?
I don't know how I found it, but I
thought it was so clever.
 You could use so many
different veggies too.

Levitating book in Halloween dining room

Last year's Halloween party
Dining Room
Notice the levitating book to
the left?  Levitating Made Easy

Three Witches from Macbeth
by William Shakespeare
Round about the cauldron go;
In the poison’d entrails throw.
Toad, that under cold stone
Days and nights hast thirty one
Swelter’d venom sleeping got,
Boil thou first i’ the charmed pot.

     Double, double toil and trouble;
     Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder’s fork, and blind-worm’s sting,
Lizard’s leg, and howlet’s wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

     Double, double toil and trouble;
     Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

Halloween is coming !

There’s a goblin at my window,
A monster by my door.
The pumpkin at my table
 Keeps on smiling
 more and more.
There’s a ghost who haunts my bedroom,
A witch whose face is green.
They used to be my family,
Till they dressed for Halloween.

Pink Witches and the Phantom of the Opera

A pink witch for Halloween
with pink roses on her broom !

Autumn Song

These are the days of falling leaves,
The days of hazy weather,
Smelling of gold chrysanthemums
And gray wood smoke together.

These are the nights of nearby stars,
The nights of closer moons,
When the windy darkness echoes
To crickets' farewell tunes.
